Alberta Women’s Health Foundation officially launches and unveils new campaign

The Alberta Women's Health Foundation (AWHF) is an initiative of the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation that will support more than 140 researchers at the Women and Children's Health Research Institute (WCHRI), whose research projects focus specifically on women's health.
Launching on International Women's Day, the AWHF is holding a virtual press conference and unveiling its launch campaign, #RefocusTheResearch.
#RefocusTheResearch is an awareness and fundraising campaign which challenges Albertans to shift their attention, money and energy from women's appearances to women's health, to improve health outcomes for women and girls.
This is an historic day in the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation's history, as well as our province's history. Please join us in celebrating the launch of this new pan-provincial foundation, which is sure to benefit women's health in our province, our country, and beyond our borders.
