Allard Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer (HBOC) Clinic
The only clinic of its kind in Alberta, the Allard HBOC Clinic works with families predisposed to hereditary forms of breast and ovarian cancer.
Antepartum Recreational Programming
This program provides a supportive and connective environment for expectant mothers, many of whom are from remote communities, who require long stays in the Lois Hole Hospital for Women.
neoBLUE Blanket System
The neoBLUE blanket places families at the center of care for newborns with jaundice by treating the condition in a minimally disruptive way using intensive blue LED phototherapy, while still allowing breastfeeding and providing skin-to-skin contact.
Spinning Babies®
This program provides health care practitioners with knowledge and techniques to help create the best positioning of a baby in the womb for an easier labour and delivery.
